Dark Light

A little late on the trend here, but who cares, I discovered S O H N (SOHN) while treading the interwebs for new material to listen to and this just popped up. And honestly left a mark. And I’m not talking crap here. S O H N produces some delectable electronic tracks that just stick to your mind like mice get trapped to a glue-pad. You wanna say to yourself you’ll find a way to get away from the sound but you can’t, S O H N hooked you from the first listen of ‘Oscillate’ and you want to hear a hell a lot more. Maybe it’s his voice, or the quality production. Who knows. It’s infectiously good. Viraly desirable. I’m glad I got to come across his music. And hoepfully you’ll feel the same way right now, give it a whirl pronto. This will please XX fans to some extent and a little Massive Attack for part of the vocal usage. It’s real good, really. I wish I’d discovered earlier but was mesmerized by something else, God know what…

Whatever dangerous, comfortable warmth it is that pulls so many into those clutches seems to be appropriately present in Jadu Heart's "Heroin Song", a hugely spacious, sweetly sorrowful sonic-needle in the arm.
