Dark Light

Estère makes all of her own beats with her MPC (Lola). The two have only just recently met, but have already begun to embark on an exciting journey together. Think of a mix between Jessie Ware and Solange, the whole package, raised in New Zealand for good measure. It’s soulful, real home-made and DIY soul, but the beauty of it lies in the fact it doesn’t show a second… She just recently went in the Blue Barn Studios to record proper takes and release a finalized version of her seven original tracks. And it doesn’t disappoint. Get a free copy below and share this easy-listening experience with the people around you :

Estère is a girl with an MPC she likes to call Lola. She produces her songs with Lola, mostly at home in her pajamas. Estère plays/records a mixture of bass, synth, drums, vocal harmonies, keyboard, whistles, kazoo, desk tapping and anything else that might take her fancy then layers her production with pulsating rhythms and evocative melodies that adhere to the genre of Electric Blue Witch Hop.

We were fortunate enough to have made her first LIVE CONCERT / SHOWCASE a reality last year when she came over on vacation. We’ll definately catch her again when she lands around Paris next. She’s a very kind gal !
