Jon Hopkins was definately the highlight yesterday at the first day of the mammoth line-up the Pitchfork Music Festival managed to unleash upon us. With an audience psyched up and ready for some fancy footwork action on the floor after a mesmerizing, loud set by Mogwai. Jon Hopkins took the reins of people’s souls to deliver a stunning set. People reacted darn well. All the set were a little short on the clock, and Hopkins’ efforts were kind of cut short in the momentum. That’s how good the show was ! More pictures to come…

Wild Manes – Cicadas

What's not to like in this track? Wild Manes deliver luscious harmonies, great instrumentation and pin-point-ship-sharp lyrics to boot. I'm on board. Check this six-piece outfit straight out of Brooklyn New-York fronted by the whimsical vocals by Lindsey Nadolski, Heather Santana and Jocelyn Conn.
