Selon Zegut, le groupe retrouve sa formation d’origine avec Cindy Wilson, et devrait sortir un album « Funplex » en février prochain. Le guitariste Keith Strickland a déclaré à Rolling Stone « Nous allons faire une tournée et nous avons donc besoin de nouvelles chansons pour le spectacle, nous allons en profiter pour faire un nouvel album. » Les nouveaux titres sont fidèles au style des B-52s ‘Pump’, ‘Love In The Year 3000’, ‘Deviant Ingredient’ et ‘Juliet Of The Spirits’. Ils ont déjà testé plusieurs titres en public, et la réaction a été plutôt positive.
