From cold as heck Stockholm, Sweden, it’s new-ish (actually DN got their paws on it around 9 months ago), it’s Elliphant. Think Kate Boy blended in with some MIA on a little more acid/dirty edge, less pop, more flow driven sound. Add a hint of Diplo‘s instrumental influence for good measure and you have the perfect new buzz-worthy-girl-fronted-band out of Sweden. In other words, another hit making machine set to take over the charts in the very close future :
From same management as Niki & the Dove, they’re from Sweden, and that’s about all we have as far as information goes. We have plenty of eye and ear candy though. Check them out, follow them and expect a whole lot more this year. It’s infectious, and dance-floor ready :
