Dark Light

I’m too late on this wonderful collaboration between Serengeti, Son Lux and no other than Sufjan Stevens called SISYPHUS after a rather swift name embargo before the full length self-titled album made it to the pressing factory (FKA s/s/s). It was only going to be an EP as per the first round of press you have might already read by now. However it finally turned out to a “creative wellspring” according to Sufjan Stevens and the trio decided to carry out a full fledge album slotted for release on vinyl at the Walker Art Center on Valentine’s Day, followed by a wide release on every format on March 18th, 2014 through Asthmatic Kitty Records and Joyful Noise Recordings. Sing along to “Calm It Down” and download the track below for free :

SISYPHUS was originally commissioned by the Walker Art Center and The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra’s Liquid Music series in Minneapolis/Saint Paul (USA). Read a fun interview with the uber-group here
