Cléa Vincent is a young Paris-born multi-instrumentalist with that unmistakable “go-getter” attitude. She’s got the electronic approach to her music like anyone who grew up towards the end of the 90’s and well into the millenium. Without forgetting where she comes from, pulling influences from the French 60’s cultural movements and the classic tracks of that time, it is clear to us that she has found some sort of niche within the French/Parisian scene.
With her second release this year, the aptly titled “Non Mais Oui 2/2” is a dive into her more obscure musical universe. Brilliant tracks like “Château Perdu” or that bliss cover of “Seul Sous La Lune” by Daniel Darc’s with additional vocal by Baptiste W. Hamon are just beyond this world and put Cléa Vincent’s apparent wrecked love relationships into light . She sings in French. Renews this old stereotypes and brings fresh new propositions to the french scene. We encourage you to check the previous EP, “Non Mais Oui 1/2”. Listen to “Retiens Mon Désir” specifically which made the blogs turn on their heads when it was published !
Non Mais Oui 2/2 EP is out now via Midnight Special Records on your favorite platforms : iTunes / Deezer / Spotify
