All the way from South East England, this psychedelic five-piece rock band called Saltwater Sun deliver some high-powered guitar riffs, hooky choruses and groovy beats. The outfit draws influences from a wide spectrum of genres including sounds from Alvvays or Honeyblood for instance. Resulting in some kind of abstract awesomeness. Particularly with those vocals that stick with you throughout the song.
Saltwater Sun are currently working on more tracks with James Bragg, a producer who has just recorded Gengahr‘s debut album.
We cannot wait to hear more from the band in the coming weeks. They’ve been at the forefront of BBC Introducing along with EKKA a little while ago and are set to light fire this year. They’re on the talent house and management company as Alma Elste who burst out on the scene only just recently with great blog support and critical acclaim worldwide.
