The chap we’re introducing on Sodwee.com today, has been trailblazing the progressive soul realm for quite some time. Hailing from St. Louis, but currently based out of Los Angeles, CA, Brandyn Burnette cooks up some real good dope independently and has got an upcoming sophomore solo EP titled “State I’m In” that will certainly make some waves when its released next June. We discovered him with his third release so far on that project, a track called “Karma”. It’s probably the best introduction to Burnette’s universe.
We were amazed at the fast-paced, soulful nature and unique artistic assets displayed on the track, that it enticed us to dig more into the character. Aside from the good looks, Brandyn Burnette has the musical background to show for his resume. Having worked and collaborated with multiple producers, and being on half of the duo Cosmos & Creature, has now gotten him the assurance and the go-to attitude to really shine on the international scene. As sonically speaking, he’s more than ready in our humble opinion, even though he’s only 25 years old.
