From the moment we heard her shivering rendition of Future Islands global hit “Seasons (Waiting On You)” [listen below] we knew Lizbet Sempa had a bright future in singing timeless pieces. Today she drops another confirmation of that talent with the single “Deep Inside”. A soaring, lush and and moody piece of music (that could well be compared the lovechild of Adele and Laura Mvula). The progression of the track could well be from another the future, the present day or from days past. It’s timeless.

Some parts even reminiscing that distinctive X-files piano chords (You’ll get what I mean when you hit play and listen to the entire track).

By the river is where I’ll be / I’ll be waiting for you here / Time is calling for you dear / mind is thinking that you’re near.

Came here looking for your pride, and I found it deep inside, / let it wash away, wash away, wash away.

This holds true to Lizbet Sempa’s talent. A diva (in a good way of course) on track to deliver some truly out-of-this-world-songs as they are timeless through the vocal performance she displays as well as the perfectly proportioned lyrics and delivery into a true hit, listen instead :

JWord x Elhae – Want More

Smooth-talking abounds from both JWord and Elhae on this one, at once laid back and energetic. They seem to bounce across the track, with the chorus going sky-high with its Chris Brown-like layering and melodies that will leave you, well, wanting more.
