Dark Light

Here’s what has sparked some attention from our inbox in the last week and for the days to come. Yes, we’re on semi-holiday out in the beautiful French countryside of the Loire-Atlantique. Basking in Sunshine and warm weather. Currently, house sitting the parentals’ abode while they circumnavigate the globe to Japan and back. We have some catching up to do on sleep, vitamin D, and a pile of new tracks we’d like to talk about. However, we thought a little playlist like post wouldn’t be so bad to compile the ones that truly wrung a bell with our earholes. Listen to them all below for your enjoyment and do tell us what your thoughts are in the comment section at the end of this post! We’d like to know your impressions…

As a heads up, we’ll have a few Interviews up and running before the end of the week, some new tracks and as always will get you the best of current music as always. I’ll end my babble here and let you enjoy the sounds we have for you. Peace out, and have a great time where ever you might be. Best, Ben.

RAC has made a name for himself in the music business for remixing superstars such as Lana Del Rey, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Shins and most notably of late with the grammy winning remix “Tearing Me Up” by Bob Moses. [/column][/columns_row] [separator type=”thick”] [imagebox maintitle=”Pale Grey” subtitle=”Billy” image=”https://sodwee.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/unspecified-e1491343207194.jpeg” color=”white” space=”50″ link=”no link”] [columns_row width=”third-and-two-thirds”] [column][/column] [column]Belgian trio Pale Grey released ‘Billy’. A solid, pop number with clever arrangements topped with smart production sense.
The band will support Electric Guest on the road in Europe over the next few months.

Speaking of the track, the band explains: “Billy” depicts the portrait of a lost boy who will have to fight to find his own way by bringing into the light the gold he has in his hands. As the symbol of a contemporary youth. A youth full of potential but in which a embittered world forgets too often to trust”

‘Billy’ is the first single to be lifted off Pale Grey’s upcoming ‘Ghosts’ EP, which will be released on May 12th.[/column][/columns_row] [separator type=”thick”] [imagebox maintitle=”Kan Wakan” subtitle=”Still Feather” image=”https://sodwee.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/KW-Press-Photo–e1491343302336.jpg” color=”white” space=”50″ link=”no link”] [columns_row width=”third-and-two-thirds”] [column][/column] [column]Kan Wakan is the stage alias of Gueorgui Linev. Vocally, he’s one of a few male performers to really stand out. The 22 year old artist is set to take the world by storm, just the same way as Gallant achieved and paved the way with the power label/artist management Mind Of A Genius did with the latter. Expect big things to be dropped over the course of the year for Kwaye.
