I’m guessing Lemin just googled her [previous] artist name and came across our little music blog and enjoyed what we had to say on HumanHuman because the Canadian artist just emailed us with four new tracks off her 12 song project that she bundled into a very compelling debut EP called “Hold A”. Well “debut”. Let’s rephrase here a second. She’s formerly known as Lemon and released a couple tracks upon going public, tracks that I can’t for the love of me re-embed into the post here so I’ll just link them here for archival purposes. The two tracks in question are titled “Your Friends” and “Better For You” and were originally unearthed by the fantastic team behind Italian music blog extraordinaires : Going Solo over 3 years ago now.

Victoria Sheahan in real life, is about to break big. And we’re not saying this lightly. Lemin is indeed backed by some heavy-weight industry insiders like Lola Plaku who’s recently worked with the likes of artists like French Montana, Big Sean, A$AP Rocky, The Weeknd, Puff Daddy, Drake, Kehlani, and many others!. But back to Lemin. I have this strange feeling she’s onto something pretty massive and has sent us a first appetizer of what’s to come in the near future with four carefully picked tracks. And we have two clear favourites with “Cookie Dough Skin” and “Up & Up”. The piano led intro and sultry vocals are clear indicators to us and should ring all the alarms as soon as you hit play on “Cookie Dough Skin”…

Are you thinking about my cookie dough skin?
Chocolate chip freckles?
Am thinking bout’ your cotton candy chest.
Are you thinking bout’ your fingers on my chin.
When we used to wrestle.
I’m thinking about the way you’d get me undressed.
But you’re not near me, and you can’t hear me
So, what am I to do?
What am I to do?

Can’t wait to hear further tracks from her project and have no doubts about the successful career this lady will embrace as soon as people pick up on the dollops of awesome this holds. This is why we named these few debut tracks #BestNewMusic on Sodwee! Listen, make up your mind for yourself:
