Dark Light

After teasing and agitating the entire blogosphere with their tantalizing and destructive track “No Sleep” earlier on in the year. Stockholm-based duo Snow Culture deliver their anticipated debut EP1 on halloween day (October 31st). They’re signed to Neon Gold Records and have been making waves since their debut track was released to critical acclaim around the world. Listen to their newest track “Paris” that serves as a beautiful anthem if you ask me. A mesmerizing number that plays on joyful melodies and smooth vocal. Also check out the official live visual for “No Sleep” (see below) for a taste of the live performance setting and potential…

I went to where we bought that awful card
The man he looked the same just a bit more scarred
Interesting what time does to a face
I never did find out why you couldn’t stay

I wonder if you’re happy where you are
It’s been a while but tell that to my heart
To see the world with lights on for a change

I never did find out why you couldn’t stay

IN PARIS, IN PARIS
To see the world with lights on for a change
I never did find out why you couldn’t stay
IN PARIS

Remember how we woke up to the rain
And how the walls were covered in cigarette stains
The circles on my back that you drew
Fingers on my skin in a room

The neighbours that were fighting in the hall
And how we had to whisper when we talked
Again I close my eyes to think of you
Fingers on my skin in a room

IN PARIS, IN PARIS
To see the world with lights on for a change
I never did find out why you couldn’t stay

IN PARIS, IN PARIS
To see the world with lights on for a change
I never did find out why you couldn’t stay

IN PARIS, IN PARIS
To see the world with lights on for a change
I never did find out why you couldn’t stay
