Dark Light

From Belgium, and backed by the bright people behind Disco Naïveté, Sylvie Kreusch releases her first ever solo track after featuring on numerous projects including Vuurwerk‘s track “Warrior”.

Titled “Seedy Tricks”, the track has is well anchored in tribal rhythms and drums. Nearing voodoo experiments at times. Mixed by Lasse Marten who worked with artists such as Lykke Li, Peter Bjorn & John and more. The track definitely works well at projecting you in a Middle-Eastern souk, lost in the maze of alleys, little shops and the overwhelming sensory impression of wanderlust hitting once more.

“Seedy Tricks” touches upon subjects of passion turned into obsessiveness. Falling to your own desires out of greediness and existential loneliness. It rings particularly well with the late afternoon basking in the sunshine of an early spring towards the evening that is meant to be equally enjoyable. Listen instead and keep a close eye on Sylvie Kreusch.
