If you remember, almost a year ago to the day, Clubhouse released a true banger titled “Weekend” that Jon wrote about, feels like it was yesterday if I want to be honest with you. Well today, and marking their first release of 2021, the Columbus, OH indie outfit is back with an equally thumping jam titled “Heartbroke” with a companion video to boot.

Formed whilst in Middle-school by Max Reichert and brothers Ari & Zak Blumer, Clubhouse forged a unique sound along with Michael Berthold and Forrest Taylor through college years before releasing the afore-mentioned “Weekend” in 2020 to critical acclaim gaining a few hundred thousand streams along the way.

Here’s “Heartbroke” that carries the same formula and takes it to another level altogether. the track boasts a catchy, highly danceable beat, some crafted vocal arrangements, and really dark lyrics for good measure.

For us, “Heartbroke” isn’t just about one of our experiences with someone we loved. It’s a combined reflection from all five of us on those relationships that drove us absolutely nuts. When you love someone so much, but you know you’re going crazy trying to make it all work.
