SINAH<\/strong> (pronounced Xena) is a London-based songstress that released her debut EP \u201cNobody Knows\u201d last June and made a name for herself for remixing \u201cBreezeblocks\u201d by Alt-J.<\/em>\u00a0her \u2018petite\u2019 cute voice mixed with some lush electronica has already been compared to Bonobo, The XX or Nicolas Jaar. So she\u2019s quite well off. Lately we\u2019ve been under so many new acts with great music (check out the spree of posts we have) so she easily went under our credibility radar. But we spotted her in one of those shuffled playlist moments and couldn\u2019t believe we missed her !<\/p>\n

During the past year SINAH<\/strong> has formed a Band around her music and with visuals adding to her performance, the producer rises from her studio to stage.<\/p>\n

Sinah belongs to that group of remarkable young musicians who are pushing electronic music forward, drawing on a love of hip hop and blending it with the dance music to create something altogether new.<\/em> \u2013 Oki Ni<\/p>\n

Her sound\u2019s a sort of futuristic deep house that could be lumped in with her contemporaries doing the same sort of think (i.e. Grimes), but SINAH is much less of a gimmick than artists to whom critics may be tempted to compare her.<\/em> \u2013 Planet Notion<\/p>\n
