Here\u2019s the band Misun<\/strong>, with a new track called \u201cSuperstitions\u201d which we absolutely fell in love with just recently. We know we just got on the bandwagon, but whatever, still hot\u2019n\u2019sizzlin\u2019. It manages to capture that last essential ray of sunshine from a bliss afternoon, turn it around and deliver a real darn good tune. Or is it the fuzzy electro-pop infusion of genres like pop, hip-hop and clearly some influences from psychedelic era of sixties rock\u2019n\u2019roll ?\u00a0Or is it just the mesmerizing vocals floating ? Misun<\/strong> themselves have dubbed the genre in which they evolve as \u201cAquawave\u201d. They were all working in the same restaurant, that\u2019s where they met. Discussing music, having heated conversations\u00a0over the kitchen pass. And finding similar tastes\u00a0between two orders and after closing. They formed Misun<\/strong> in Washington, DC.\u00a0However they\u2019re\u00a0now based out of Los Angeles, CA.<\/p>\n

The band enjoyed early adoption by\u00a0power-houses like Pitchfork and other influential blogs and scored multiple #1 hits on The Hype Machine.
