As I’m writing these words, Annie Mac<\/em>\u00a0(Radio 1) is probably playing this new tasty jam by Aquilo<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>called “Better Off Without You”. It’s their opening\u00a0track off their upcoming EP\u00a0\u2018Calling Me\u2019 released next May 31st\u00a0via the ever wonderful\u00a0B3SCI <\/em>label (aka Blablablascience<\/a>) through which they’ve already worked with on the ‘Human’ EP late last year.<\/p>\n

The duo, made of Tom<\/em> & Ben<\/em> from the Lake District (UK),\u00a0once again deliver another bunch of very\u00a0strikingly cinematic and impeccably produced tracks (previous highlights include,\u00a0“Human”, produced by no other than the almighty :\u00a0SOHN<\/a>).<\/p>\n

This EP release, is the third by Aquilo already. Having broken the scene last year, scouted and signed pretty instantly. The band was\u00a0put to work for an obvious album outcome in the near future. They’ve so far worked with a array of artists from around the globe, including EDM young French\u00a0wizard : MADEON<\/a>\u2026\u00a0<\/em>The first track taken from the EP is \u2018Better Off Without You\u2019 and taps into themes of love and heartbreak staying true to their signature and general aesthetics.<\/p>\n
