After gaining some well deserved accolades by Prince<\/em> (yes, the \u201cPurple Rain\u201d dude himself) and featuring amongst today\u2019s top act including Chance The Rapper<\/a>. <\/em>The Detroit raised\u00a0but Chicago based\u00a0soul artist\u00a0Eryn Allen Kane<\/strong> has finally released visuals and a Soundcloud link to her debut track \u201cHave Mercy\u201d today. And my sorry self has been wowed over by the sheer rawness yet smooth as vocal performance.<\/p>\n

The track \u201cHave Mercy by\u00a0Eryn Allen Kane<\/strong>\u00a0is taken from her debut EP, \u2018Aviary\u2019<\/h3>\n

It\u2019s a no frills, no mucking around song. You\u2019ll get chills if you listen to it loud enough, in the dark and try to play around with a glow stick (like I did, I also bumped into a corner of my desk as a result, leaving me breathless) as she reaches the climax of her song and hits those high notes, owning the surroundings at the same time. No wonder Prince had tweeted her first video for \u201cHollow\u201d (taken down since), she obviously nails it, and in high fashion.<\/p>\n

The approach is very minimalistic, and serves the main instrument\u00a0in the best of ways.\u00a0Her stunning voice, won\u2019t leave you un-phased. Check it out :<\/p>\n
