Based in\u00a0Tel Aviv, growing up in\u00a0Emek Hefer on the Israeli coast, we’d like to take a minute or \u00a0your precious time to introduce you to\u00a0the solo debut of Dorj<\/strong>, also known as Dor Turgeman<\/em> in the civil world. He has a real classical background, studying composition at uni in Tel Aviv and delivers enough proof on his debut track “Don’t Care” from his upcoming debut EP\u00a0‘forgetmoveondontcare’. It’s a complicated affair of soulful vocals mingling with RnB elements in bed with electronics.<\/p>\n

Dorj will release his debut solo EP\u00a0\u2018FORGETMOVEONDONTCARE<\/i>\u2019 later this year.<\/h3>\n

You’ll quickly find that “Don’t Care” holds\u00a0similitudes with recent artists like Jack Garratt<\/em> or even Rationale<\/em> to a certain degree. Topped with great, Timberlake-level, vocal performance. Listen instead (below).<\/p>\n

I grew up with lyricists such as\u00a0Leonard Cohen & Bob Dylan,\u00a0who influenced my journey in exploring the power of words within melodies – how to play with meanings, syllables, and poetic metaphors<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Keep your eyes peeled for Dorj<\/strong>. He’s set to bring a little glimpse of sunshine to the table, and rip through those thick grey clouds (at least in Nantes)…<\/p>\n
