Last August, South-African born, Australian-raised\u00a0<strong>Troye Sivan\u00a0<\/strong>first released &#8220;Happy Little Pill&#8221; and topped charts in over 66 countries.\u00a0With a blend of the dream-pop and electronic genre,\u00a0<em>Troye\u00a0<\/em>was easily one to watch. The hesitation was: By popularity\u00a0or talent? If the\u00a0first song off his second\u00a0major-label EP &#8220;Wild&#8221; is anything to go by: Talent is the answer. Hopefully his debut album won&#8217;t be another year-long wait.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8216;WILD&#8217; is an opening installment, a 6 song keyhole to introduce you guys to all of the music I&#8217;ve got coming in 2015.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><em>&#8211; Troye Sivan, &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=m8VdLNpH_ns\">Announcing My Album<\/a>&#8220;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s rare to see\u00a0YouTube singers transition\u00a0into music with the confidence and high-quality production that\u00a0<em>Troye<\/em><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>has. 2014&#8217;s &#8220;Happy Little Pill&#8221; touched on the\u00a0jaded emotions of the world-weary. And September 3rd;s release &#8220;Wild&#8221; was even more\u00a0magical on the emotive scale:\u00a0The tune\u00a0convinces hard hearts\u00a0to relive\u00a0memories\u00a0of their first love. Background vocals that chorus &#8220;Wild&#8221; echo like\u00a0innocence lost, and there&#8217;s even a strange envy of teenagers who have the luxury to indulge in the angst of\u00a0<strong>Troye Sivan<\/strong>&#8216;s<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>simple but effective lyrics.
