The Internet is a beauty of a place. The stuff you come across on there are limitless in their creative scope. From Niarn Cats, to dolphins having a conversation, via memes of Donald Trump of every form and shape. It\u2019s endless, and so is the music. We virtually met Yellow Days<\/strong>\u00a0aka George van den Broek over Facebook chat earlier this evening. He\u2019s a 16 years old musician, singer and songwriter from London with a voice that recalls the hay-day of Only Real<\/a><\/em>, with hints of King Krule<\/a><\/em> in the instrumentation. It sounds awesome with the headphones, with that in mind, I can\u2019t wait to bask in bliss tomorrow as I pack this bag of mine.<\/p>\n

Plenty of guitars to go by, a surf-rock swagger and the musical background of this generation \u201cY\u201d in tow and fully assimilated, Yellow Days<\/strong> powers through vocally on \u201cMy Own Way\u201d and showcases some real potential at such a young age. We also checked with him where he\u2019d sourced his influences, and says he\u2019s heavily influenced\u00a0by acts like Howlin\u2019 Wolf, Ray Charles, Mac Demarco <\/em>and Tame Impala\u00a0<\/em>to name just a few.
