With a North American tour with Mura Masa and Nao under way. A slot at Pitchfork Music Festival Paris this fall and two excellent EPs,\u00a0Royah<\/i> and Sleepy Hungry,<\/i>\u00a0under her belt. Bonzai\u00a0<\/strong>is still the hot ticket<\/a> in any town she heads out to. Today she revealed \u201cI Did\u201d, a brand new track we totally fell in love with. Some clear influences by M.I.A. here. It\u2019s sharp and really well produced (nothing of a miracle when you know she\u2019s signed to Mura Masa\u2019s very own label, Anchor Point). \u201cI Did\u201d feels like a Michel Gondry video, without the visuals. Something that comes together once the video is over, in this case when the track is over. Something that only makes sense at the end. It doesn\u2019t sell you the entire track in the first 30 seconds of it being played like most. So it needs to be spun in its entirety before you make any judgement.<\/p>\n
