Music blogs have come a long way over the last decade, so we thought we\u2019d reach out to one of the industry\u2019s veterans: Sodwee.<\/em><\/p>\n

This inbox submission was a true, welcome Monday\u00a0surprise. A singer\/songwriter from the UK, named Plested<\/strong>\u00a0and with a truly gobsmacking track called “Habits” off of his upcoming EP belts out an ode to\u00a0the wrong kind of love. From lyrics to the vocal scope and slick, smooth and delicious arrangements Plested delivers and stellar track beyond any expectation. Having penned some tracks for no other than\u00a0Emeli Sande<\/em>\u00a0and Zayn Malik <\/em>(to name just two) it’s no wonder this up-and-coming musician will turn heads this year. If the tracks are this good in the future, I’m pretty sure we hold the next Sam Smith-esque aura out there.<\/p>\n

This UK based Twenty-four year old started his career as part of duo Chasing Grace, before focusing solely on his solo project and writing songs for himself. The track “Habits” is the first single from his forthcoming\u00a0EP due out this year.<\/p>\n
