After seeing Gavin Turek<\/strong> live in Paris opening for The Avalanches<\/a> and thinking she was clearly a lot more entertaining than The Avalanches despite the fact she didn’t have a full band supporting her show that day, granted it was 4th of July, Gavin<\/strong> gave all that she had to the french audience in attendance. A 45 minute show that took everyone by storm and ended in a disco-dancefest of sorts. It was very pleasing to watch, very entertaining and the crowd embraced Gavin\u00a0Turek<\/strong> from the first few notes. Born in Los Angeles, Gavin<\/strong> could be easily mistaken for a modern take on Tina Turner<\/em> stage-side, and a contemporary Diana Ross<\/em> studio side.<\/p>\n
