We\u2019ve first heard Victor Perry<\/em>\u2018s voice a few months back, maybe even last year when he came forward and dropped the wonderful \u201cNostalgia\u201d<\/a>. Since then, he\u2019s relocated and took another project on. Creating Labrose<\/strong> from scratch with fellow producer and musician Alisdair Mason from Birmingham in the UK. The first single of their collaboration is titled \u201cDisguise\u201d released via PM Recordings today.<\/p>\n

Matched with ambient acoustic guitar rhythms, melodic drum patterns, and electronic undertones.\u00a0We dug the vocal delivery of Perry\u2019s lyrical phrasing and the modern take on 21st century crooning. Alisdair Mason\u2019s tops the track off with a bold minimal production aesthetic. Leaving Victor the opportunity to shine throughout his vocal prowess here.<\/p>\n
