Friday\u2019s are usually blessed with album releases. But today, it\u2019s the second single titled \u201cPure Gold\u201d from up and coming self-produced London-based songstress:\u00a0Marna<\/strong>. She had already impressed us with the first offering \u201cCrossfire\u201d but didn\u2019t manage to get round to cover the blossoming talent. Alas, today, we\u2019re on in the game and Introducing Marna<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cPure Gold taunts with rejection and flipping it to hit harder. Owning somebody else\u2019s decision and turning things around to your own advantage. Built around JKP\u2019s soaring synths and layered mind-blowingly with her upper-class vocals. \u201cPure Gold\u201d is definitely a high-value production effort.<\/p>\n

Born in London, into a creatively prolific family of actors and dancers. Marna<\/strong> followed through with the tradition and\u00a0experimented with self-produced projects that drew influence from the likes of Alice Glass and James Blake before losing interest in her songwriting. She met producer JKP<\/em> who helped turn things around to where we see them now. With \u201cCrossfire\u201d and \u201cPure Gold\u201d already instant classics we genuinely believe the gal has a bright future in what she undertakes.<\/p>\n
