Introducing, well not so much. Ravages<\/strong> is the brainchild outfit of ex-Exsonvaldes<\/a> musicians (we introduced them way back in 2012<\/em>). Back this year with their new project and new sound signature to boot. Somewhere between LCD Soundsystem<\/em> and Serge Gainsbourg,\u00a0<\/em>Simon Beaudoux and Martin Chourrout produce electronic music driven by the urge to create with clear songwriting in mind. all of which is done without any guitars and with lyrics sung in French only.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s refreshing to hear, refreshing to share such a compelling project from a Parisian band that takes pride in their art and connect with a profound vision. Ravages<\/strong> will release a brand new EP titled \u201cRenaissance\u201d, due to be released on April 9th 2018. The pair draws inspiration from science-fiction, their scientific background (both have studied science; Martin graduated from Polythechnique school in Paris, and Simon has a master degree in Artificial Intelligence). It\u2019s bright, modern organic pop, perfect for a spring \u2018renouveau\u2019 and rebirth of these talented musicians.<\/p>\n
