Brooklyn-based surf R&B duo <strong>Bathe<\/strong> revealed their new single \u201cDealer\u201d after two previous bangers \u201c<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Kimmi (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/sodwee.com\/blog\/2019\/02\/brooklyn-duo-bathe-talk-about-ghosting-in-new-single-kimmi\/\" target=\"_blank\">Kimmi<\/a>\u201d and \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/sodwee.com\/blog\/2018\/10\/introducing-bathe-a-surf-rb-duo-with-debut-single-sure-shot\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Sure Shot (opens in a new tab)\">Sure Shot<\/a>\u201c. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This track brilliantly delivers on a funk driven guitar through the groove and suave nuances of the lyrical composition and the accompanying rhythms and a diverse color spectrum as a result. Spearheaded by the soft, sultry vocals of <em>Dev Hobdy<\/em> and the musicianship of <em>Corey Smith-West<\/em>. Both collided at the University of Pennsylvania where they formed this niche duo <strong>Bathe<\/strong>. Bringing onboard elements from an array of influences including R&B of course, but also hip-hop, Dream pop. The resulting tracks sound fresh and innovative without alienating anyone who listens with something too out of this world it would only cater to a smaller demographic of music aficionados. A seven track affair that sticks to its guns.
