Inspired by early Talking Heads doing absolutely nothing until it somehow became iconic, supermodel* operates in a blissful state of anti-intent. No grand lore, no mood boards, no \u201cthis record explores\u2026\u201d press-release nonsense. It\u2019s pop, but restless. Emo-bruised, hip-hop-leaning, punk-adjacent, and constantly smirking at itself. \u201cyour house\u201d aches with nostalgic ferocity, \u201cno future\u201d throws 90s grit at modern anxiety, and \u201ci used to live in england\u201d steals the show \u2014 a Beastie Boys-by-way-of-Tesco freestyle that feels so specific it loops back around to universal. It\u2019s DIY not as an aesthetic flex, but because, frankly, no one else was around to do it. Beanie edits the videos, designs the artwork, and builds the world one unbothered decision at a time. Six tracks are more than enough when you know how to own a room, even a tiny one. Dance breaks included, irony optional. supermodel* isn\u2019t here to define a lane \u2014 he\u2019s actively avoiding one \u2014 and that\u2019s precisely why this project sticks.
