Some albums try to take you somewhere. 15 15\u2019s new record M\u0100RARA doesn\u2019t just suggest a destination \u2014 it hands you a boarding pass, a coconut drink and politely points you toward an island that may or may not exist on any official map.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Released today via S76 Records, M\u0100RARA \u2014 meaning \u201cflying fish\u201d \u2014 unfolds like a musical travelogue to a little-known Polynesian island imagined by the Paris-based collective. While Tahiti tends to hog the postcard spotlight, this project shines its lantern somewhere else entirely: a place shaped by geography, climate, traditions and the quietly humming mythology of the island itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
