I came to know a little more about this side-project of his. Plainview produced some tracks for Philip Li (a London based artist) who just recently put together a performance\/exhibition named\u00a0\u2018POP SCULPTURE: THE FILOSOPHY OF MAKING\u2019, at Camberwell Space in London, blending sculpture, music and fashion. Out of the exhibition, three tracks were birthed. Here are my two favorites, \u201cFuture Is Now\u201d alongside this exclusive <em>never-heard-before<\/em> \u201cMovie Star\u201d premiered here on sodwee.com. We\u2019re also secretly in ADORATION for the covert art from a previous tune \u201cPanther\u201d, so we took the liberty to use it for this post, although it\u2019s not really related :<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><a href=\"https:\/\/sodwee.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Future-Is-Now.mp3\">Le Fil \u2013 Future Is Now<\/a>\u00a0[audio:https:\/\/sodwee.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Future-Is-Now.mp3]\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sodwee.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Movie-Star.mp3\">Le Fil \u2013 Movie Star<\/a>\u00a0[audio:https:\/\/sodwee.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Movie-Star.mp3]\n<p>\u201c<em>I did these tracks with Fil as a favour for an exhibition he was doing \u2013 theyre a little different to my normal style, but gave me a chance to work in a different genre, which is always good, and I\u2019m quite pleased with how they\u2019ve turned out.<\/em>\u201d says Plainview.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Le Fil<\/strong> is now officially on! \u00a0The name Le Fil represents the meeting point of my many disciplines and ideas. Translated in French, it means the thread or line, which I interpret as the borderline where the boundaries blur and the disciplines meet.
