The band consists of\u00a0Panda Bear\u00a0(Noah Lennox),\u00a0Avey Tare\u00a0(David Portner),\u00a0Deakin\u00a0(Josh Dibb) and\u00a0Geologist\u00a0(Brian Weitz). Records released under the name Animal Collective may include contributions from any or all of these members; the lineup is not uniform.\u00a0The band members met in school and started recording together in various forms of collaboration from a young age. Although the band is often classified as psych folk or noise rock, it is hard to define the Animal Collective sound as they often experiment with diverse styles and ideas from album to album.<\/em><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/sodwee.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Surf-Solar-7_-Edit.mp3\">Fuck Buttons &#8211; Surf Solar (7&#8243; Edit)<\/a><\/h2>\n<p><em><strong>Fuck Buttons<\/strong> are Andrew Hung and Benjamin John Power, a two-piece experimental group based in London, England.\u00a0Formed in late 2004 and signed to the\u00a0Atp\u00a0label, releasing the\u00a0Bright Tomorrow\u00a0b\/w \u201cLittle Bloody Shoulder\u201d 7\u201d single during the fall of 2007. They released their first album\u00a0Street Horrrsing\u00a0in 2008 and received widespread acclaim. A single\u00a0Colours Move\u00a0followed later that year.<\/em><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/sodwee.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/01-Hang-With-Me-Aviciis-Exclusive-Club-Mix.mp3\">Robyn &#8211; Hang With Me (Avicii&#8217;s Exclusive Club Mix)<\/a><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Robyn<\/strong> is the stage name of the Swedish\u00a0pop\u00a0singer-songwriter\u00a0Robin Miriam Carlsson (born 12 June 1979 in Stockholm, Sweden). The band formed in 2000 with three members from\u00a0Jonathan Fire*Eater\u2014Paul Maroon (guitar, piano), Walter Martin (organ\/bass), and Matt Barrick (drums)\u2014and two from\u00a0The Recoys, Peter Bauer (bass\/organ) and Hamilton Leithauser (vocals, guitar). Chromatics\u2019 new studio album, Kill for Love, was released March 26, 2012.\u00a0They originally hailed from Seattle as a quartet featuring vocalist Adam Miller, drummer Hannah Blilie, guitarist Devin Welch, and bassist Michelle Nolan. That lineup debuted in 2002 with aCalvin Johnson-produced 7\u201d on\u00a0Gold Standard Laboratories\u00a0\u2014 a split with\u00a0Die Monitr Batss\u00a0\u2014 and followed with the similarly GSL-issued\u00a0Chrome Rats Vs Basement Ruts\u00a0LP.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/sodwee.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/03-Like-the-Wheel.mp3\">Tallest Man On Earth &#8211; Like the Wheel<\/a><\/h2>\n<p>Behind the name <strong>The Tallest Man On Earth<\/strong> is\u00a0Kristian Matsson\u00a0(born April 30th, 1983 in Dalarna, Sweden). He plays guitar, banjo and piano and has released three full length albums, the first entitled\u00a0Shallow Grave\u00a0and the second entitled\u00a0The Wild Hunt. His most recent album,\u00a0There\u2019s No Leaving Now, was released June 12th 2012 via\u00a0Dead Oceans. He has also released a self-titled 5-track EP on the Swedish label\u00a0gravitation, as well as a second 5-track EP entitled\u00a0Sometimes The Blues Is Just A Passing Bird, recently released on\u00a0Dead Oceans. The Tallest Man On Earth is known for his very charismatic raw voice. He is often compared to\u00a0Bob Dylan, who shared his raw vocal style and folk-based musical style.\u00a0He was formerly the front man in\u00a0Montezumas<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/sodwee.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/08-Paradise.mp3\">Wild Nothing &#8211; Paradise<\/a><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Wild Nothing<\/strong> is the solo project of Virginia born Jack Tatum, whose music is the product of an unhealthy obsession with nostalgia. Equal parts teenage wasteland and inexplicable regret, his songs are the kind that could only be made by the young at heart.\u00a0Tatum began recording under the moniker Wild Nothing in the summer of 2009 in Blacksburg, Virginia. Upon gathering attention in indie music circles, he was signed with the Captured Tracks record label and began touring with a band. His debut full-length, Gemini, was released in spring 2010 to acclaim from Pitchfork Media and the music editors at Amazon.com.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/sodwee.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/What-You-Wont-Do-For-Love-Prod.-Sampha.mp3\">Jessie Ware &#8211; What You Won&#8217;t Do For Love (Prod. Sampha)<\/a><\/h2>\n<p>South Londoner <strong>Jessie Ware<\/strong> is one of the most exciting vocalists to emerge from the UK underground. The last couple of years have seen the glamorous vocalist collaborating with some of the most respected producers on the electronic spectrum. Jessie caused waves through out the scene in 2010 when she lent her vocals to masked producer SBTRKT for his fantastically catchy and squelchy track Nervous.\u00a0The following year she worked with Bristol dubstep producer Joker on the ominous and thunderous lead single The Vision from his debut album The Vision (4AD). And melted hearts with Sampha on Valentine, stealing the show at the Young Turks Valentine\u2019s Day Special at the Boiler Room with their live rendition of the tune. The\u00a0Devotion Songfactsreports that Jessie\u2019s ability to ride SBTRKT\u2019s and other dubstep musician\u2019s skittering beats earned her a solo deal. Her debut album, Devotion, was released by PMR Records on August 20, 2012.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/sodwee.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Two-Islands.mp3\">Outfit &#8211; Two Islands<\/a><\/h2>\n<p>London\u2019s Double Denim are beginning to forge their own identity, apparently harking back to a time when you could buy records blind simply because you knew you loved the label. Theirs is an unremittingly dark musical persona, as evidenced on\u00a0Christian Aids \u2018Stay +\u2019, and it is a persona that seems a perfect fit for\u00a0<strong>Outfit<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Two Islands\u2019, the Liverpool band\u2019s latest single, trades in the sorts of breaking-wave guitars, feedback, and hooky vocals that one imagines Daniel Miller is a complete sucker for. It is a fantastically catchy pop song, interestingly arranged \u2013 and the vocals remind us of Simple Minds which, whatever anyone else tries to tell you, is a very good thing indeed. [<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thelineofbestfit.com\/new-music\/song-of-the-day\/outfit-two-islands-song-of-the-day-295-62173\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">via<\/a>]\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Ratking &#8211; Wikispeaks [stream below]<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>\u201cWikispeaks,\u201d the first taste of four-man Harlem crew\u00a0Ratking\u2019s forthcoming EP, begins with a spoken preamble by the group\u2019s unibrowed leader, Wiki, delivered like a Sunday School sermon over a repeating loop that slouches forward, then blooms into a dusty head-knocker that\u2019d pair nicely with PlayStation and a big beer. The labels XL and Hot Charity\u2014home of Willis Earl Beale\u2014will release Ratking\u2019s EP on November 5th. Meanwhile, Wiki\u2019s debut EP\u00a0<em>1993<\/em>, which featured a rough version of \u201cWikispeaks,\u201d has been\u00a0mysteriously scrubbed\u00a0from Bandcamp.
