Always trying to the best of my ability to remain on top of things and remain as trendy as possible, to the point of being seen as a complete and utter arse (by the way, I couldn’t care less). I today introduce my 30 Day Song Challenge, so you get a nice perving picture of what I like to listen to, and even download each song in the process, whether you like or not, please comment and add your 30 Day Song Challenge in the comment section a tad further down the page !
Day #01 – My favourite song :
Yes, “Black Jack Davey” sung originally by Bob Dylan, here covered in style by dynamic, delightful and wonder DUO The White Stripes, which are my favourite band of all time. They led me to stuff I’d thought I would never dare listen to, they uncovered the love for wax and grooves, even dusty ones… They did split not too long ago and boy will I miss their quirkyness. So this song is my favourite merely because of Meg White’s simple yet effective thumping of the drum set. Also because she is an integral part of the group’s dynamics. The group would NOT be the same with someone else at Meg’s drumkit. But instead of talking, go forth and listen to the track. And you can download it too. Ain’t It Cool ?
