Pitchfork Music Festival in Paris, was something I was really looking forward on my calendar, this year. My birthday gift for my 27th… With Wesley freshly landed from a Dubai – Paris and right before that, a Johannesburg – Dubai on duty. He managed to get to the flight in time for a shower, some coffee and a cool chat before we needed to make a move for the venue and catch the first act of this three day music marathon. Here are some random pictures taken throughout those 3 days. And I’ve compiled my top-list below with my thoughts on each act. What I liked, what I didn’t get absolutely crazy for, what I could of passed easily and what I missed out on because we came in too late or because a necessary pitstop for rather expensive burgers, chips or BEER was on the cards… And in bold what was outstanding for a number of reasons I won’t even start to exhaust here… BIG UP to Wesley from Dubai/Brasilia for putting up with my nonsense… and being a great Festival goer of course.
