Dark Light

From the beautiful city of Lyon comes a trio. An indie electro threesome called Téhessé (pronounced T-S-C) with amazing lighthearted trip-hop/electro tracks and a very mature EP called “Toumrakata” already available at their Bandcamp page. The band is clearly influenced by modern music and acts such as The XX, The Cure, Breton, Hercules & Love Affair, Caribou, The Knife, The Smiths, Massive Attack, James Blake, SBTRKT, Nicolas Jaar and The Shoes amongst many others, you can totally feel it in their songs…

Selia contacted us last Sunday (17th March 2013) and suggested we hear the bands material for possible inclusion. She did well because, we absolutely fell in love the second “Interlude” started playing on our modest 5.1 sound system and mother stormed in with evil eyes to ask to switch the music down a little. That’s how we measure a good track. Listen and download “Interlude” below then hit the play button on the rest of the “Toumrakata” EP. These guys are on the rise for sure. The band members are Théo playing the guitars, synthesizer, Selia in charge of vocals, Bass and Camille on Electronic Drums.
