Noah contacted me through the blog… and I immediately actioned the dopeness that is about to unfold before your eyes : This 8 piece band fronted by Noah Sacré, complete with brass ensemble delivers some crazy 60’s style Hip-Hop music. The band is called Almighty Planets. They currently have a cover version of SBTRKT‘s ‘Wildfire’ on show and plenty more in the pipeline. So much more in fact it’s heart breaking to find out they’re waiting a proper release for their material. Rightfully, the cool dudes are keeping it under wraps. It’s damn good dudes, dudettes, trust me. I’ve had the pleasure of listening to their upcoming EP and boy did I swivvel hardcore in my chair. At times even thrusting some pretty sick moves (no my usual state, rest assured) but loved their tracks so much. Here’s a live version of one of their track called ‘Elvis’ :
