Wyles & Simpson also known as Abigail Wyles and Holly Simpson are an English electronic duo with a debut album due for release early 2015.. Today they drop ‘Light & Dark” for the world to appreciate.
Working together for a couple of years already, working for the likes of Rihanna, Nile Rodgers, Chase & Status, Doc Daneeka and many more. They been a close pair since the begining, Abigail laying vocals and Holly silently producing in the background. However in the past few months, they’ve decided to describe themselves as a duo. Because the amount of work the two pour in the project is equally commendable. Their debut album should come out at the beginning of 2015. It’s ready to take the world over.
‘Light & Dark’ is a formidable first introduction to the band, and the first track they had worked on fully together as a duo. With constant bassline crossing throughout the soundscape. Then, more candid modulations with a string section in the second half of the song make for a standout number all together. You can hear the jazzy vocal influences in there…. It’s impressive !
