UPDATE #1 : No it’s not Jeremy Clarkson. Nor is it the stig.

UPDATE #2 : Heard through the grapevine that ᏢᎾᎾᏞs is actually australian and a well known producer who uploads non-official ideas and side projects under that moniker. His real name could well begin with T and end with U… 

ᏢᎾᎾᏞs is another very mysterious, carefully planned and perfectly executed PR stunt. Or not. Yeah, because at this point in time, it’s only been a few days and most of ᏢᎾᎾᏞs public shelf-life as been on Soundcloud as reposts, and buzzing retweet darling for much of the same time span… And the guy/gal  is pulling in massive play counts for all of his/her tracks. I don’t understand how an unknown artist can rake in so many plays for five tracks and not be tied with anyone/anything. Or maybe, it’s just that good that people feel compelled to share and repeat playing these awesome tracks without caring about the being behind these art pieces.

We music bloggers, though, are quite nervous as to where all this will lead to in the end ? Is the man/woman/android/animal, behind the ᏢᎾᎾᏞs moniker Canadian ? French ? American or Australian ? Or from a place that no one has even heard of before ? Is ᏢᎾᎾᏞs even someone at this point or just a collective of well established artists turning our heads into origami matter? Questions are fusing on the blogosphere ! In every possible direction.

ONE THING IS FOR SURE, THESE TUNES ARE TO DIE FOR. SERIOUSLY GOOD AND WELL PRODUCED. GIVE THEM ALL A LISTEN. IT’S BEAT MUSIC AT ITS BEST WITH FLUME-ESQUE CHOPPED VOCALS AND AIRY SOUNDSCAPES.
