Teddy Au Top circles in the realms of Copenhagen, Denmark. But had made a year long stop in Paris before heading North. That is where he drew most of his inspiration to craft the upcoming EP. Today he releases “Rite” the second installment to his very fresh career as a musician and fully fledged artist. Having released a superb debut track called “Words”, secured some label backing, management and all the necessary behind-the-scenes red tape/mumbo jumbo an artist has to go through these days. Teddy Au Top aka Conor Fitzpatrick (in real life) has somewhat matured is sound and detailed the direction he wants to head for the next few tracks of the future EP… Listen :
Teddy Au Top is mainly inspired by the daily grind of life, people, friends, striking and less striking conversations, even moments he could have had. Anything goes really, so long as relationships and love topics stay out (he’s not very fond of them). Creatively speaking and for his first EP (still to be released), Conor met everyone who collaborated for his track in the City Of Lights : Paris and recorded the EP in Gothenburg, Sweden with Anders Lagerfors, the swedish producer (whom also happens to have produced and collaborated with band Pale Honey). Joachim Larralde, the illustrator, is the guy behind these wicked cover artworks (go forth and check his Tumblr page)… Show a little Like/Love while you’re at it. 😉
