Lao Ra is probably the most promising newcoming artist to have come through this past year. She has Colombian roots but is based in the UK. She does not hold back on her heritage through the music she delivers. A little MIA, a hint of well calibrated pop and hooks to die for. She recently released the video for “Bang Boom” above and it’s another welcomed tropical sounding piece of music. Colorful and right within the direction we’d expect her to take.
