Dark Light

Mark Berg aka Tropic Harbour , a dream pop artist from Edmonton, Alberta in Canada drops “Can’t Pretend”, a new track to his project created as ‘utopian space constructed for peace of mind’ as he describes. last year, Tropic Harbour released “New Life” that became a highlight for him on the interwebs. This new track “Can’t Pretend”, however, will further push his creative project front and center and see him release more in 2018 and beyond. He teamed up with Luke Pretty on mastering while Berg, settled for producing and written duties.

The track itself is very structured rhythmically and well calibrated electronic elements come in the perfect the very appealing picture. Leaving his lyrical and vocal capabilities shine throughout the three-minute song without an itch.

Mark Berg says of the song:

A departure into a more down-tempo electronic realm. The slow builds and atmosphere of the track play into the lyrical themes of self-discovery. It’s about letting go of a past relationship and finding myself in the process.
