Fancy some raw guitars, a pop edge and controlled mess ? You’ve knocked on the right door. Enter Emma Elisabeth and her newest jangle pop track titled “What A Waste”.
From the gritty vocal delivery to the vulnerable and nakedness of the guitar lines, Emma Elisabeth‘s “What A Waste” draws from influences of jazz, country and desert rock. Recalling artists such as Margo Price, Blondie and others. Emma Elisabeth is from the Swedish town Höllviken, a little town on by the sea side. Growing up with both her parents, also musicians. Early on, she picked up a few instruments to discover what would later become her passion and full-time career. She moved and is now based in Berlin, Germany where she finds her current inspiration, friendships and collaborations for her creative projects.
Emma Elisabeth has worked on her previous six track EP “We Gotta Talk” released in spring of 2017. Last year (2018) she also released new material with two singles : “Soul Traveller” and “Into The Blue” (listen in PASSPORT section below). She’s about to drop her debut full length album titled “Melancholic Milkshake” that will see her songwriting and classic approach truly shine and her pop melodies ring powerfully throughout. Listen to “What A Waste” below and share this around with your friends. Great number, and an artist to keep a close eye on.
