Dark Light

Well, if you haven’t settled down, relaxed and brewed yourself some tasty warm tea before you head for some peace and quiet today. I have news for you! Sal Dulu, from Dublin, Ireland has dropped a brand new track simply titled “B” featuring vocals from Koncept Jack$on that will most definitely help you soothe away that long day away like the best stress-relief in existence.

Released on his very own label Duluoz Records, talented producer and musician Sal Dulu drops a quality track today that also announces the incoming “Xompulse” debut album due out on February 19, 2021. Following an equally top-notch jam titled “Alien Boy 96” the Dublin-based artist dropped last month.

Listen to “B” by Sal Dulu featuring Koncept Jack$on:

We’re talking about an emerging artist that has agitated a bunch of tastemakers and the music who’s who in his local scene as well as beyond international borders including the likes of one of our favourite blogs out there in the name of Line Of Best Fit. We’re also talking about a stylish and approved take on downtempo hip-hop blending in lush, licked aesthetics, some textured electronic tones and – Cherry on the cake, Richmond’s, VA very own Koncept Jack$on (see Bandcamp profile) adding ship-sharp value to the final product. Something, that is pretty rare to attain with so many distractions in the real world these days, it’s a welcome aural breather that is sure to help you unwind.

The new album from Sal Dulu titled “Xompulse” will be out next year, leaving us to enjoy these two already very promising tracks. On the soundscape, Sal Dulu leaves off from where his earlier music took us, demonstrating once again his flexibility in the production style, rendering a cinematic encounter with music that also feels incredibly intimate.

Speaking about the forthcoming “Xompulse” album, Sal Dulu says:

The album comprises fragments of aural and visual memories and assimilates these in a series of memory-based songs or dreams.  The album can essentially be described as moving through a dreamscape.

It’s tough to pigeon-hole or pinpoint a genre for Sal Dulu‘s music even. Influences range from one side of the spectrum to the other in a seamless fashion. Leaving us wanting to hear more from his future collaborations and wanting to know where his skillset as a musician, producer and artist will drift us next.
