From Los Angeles, CA. BOYLIFE is hitting hard with compelling tracks. Three already released and starting to pick up traction with this latest anthem titled Bummy! With industry heavyweights backing his efforts BOYLIFE is sure to be making waves and heading places in no time. Check out “Bummy!” below and follow his Twitter + Instagram for more future jams:
From Toronto, Canada. Loony just released her debut EP titled “JOYRiDE”. Smooth grooves, angel-like vocals and razor-sharp lyrics for a blend of soul and R&B topped with a devastating guitar riff that is “Ghosts” for you in a nutshell:
It’s actually impossible to not like this track. Particularly at the moment, in the middle of a quarantine. It resonates heavily as I play this poppy, very well produced summer hit you definitely need to hear. Let Stay Over say a little more about the track:
“It’s about growing up. It’s about me trying to figure out what the fuck is going on. Trying to figure out why I’m not as happy as I used to be. Everyone in my life used to know me as the happy kid. Then over time I started getting sad. It’s been confusing. I’m coming to terms with it. Asking questions. Searching for answers. Trying to figure myself out. Accepting who I am and being okay with it.”
From Boyle, Ireland, here comes newcomer GAFF. Take hip-hop instrumentals as your base, add some licked alternative guitar riffs that stick and throw in a very particularly distinctive voice into the mix and you get this brilliant piece of music titled “All Day” (listen below). One to keep an eye on for the future. GAFF will be going on to great things.
A.O. Gerber is based out of Los Angeles, CA. The singer-songwriter just dropped the second single “All I’ve Known” from her forthcoming debut album titled “Another Place To Need”, due out on May 22 via Hand In Hive and Copper Mouth Records.
Starting on the easy and softer side. Gerber’s vocals tend to take the lead as she wades through the breathtaking composition of “All I’ve Known”. Completely breaking apart, shattering your expectations towards the latter part of the song into one great explosion you wouldn’t want to miss:
From the heart of North London, wordsmith Tazzz P collaborates with producer Juvenal Maze and drops a compelling track titled “Don’t Sleep”. We whole-heartedly dug the high-octane delivery in the vocal output as well as the poetry penned throughout the lyrics over skills demonstrated by Juvenal Maze on the instrumental direction and production. The final result is impressive and something to truly encourage. Tazzz P wants to shake things up on the capital’s hip-hop and rap scene. She certainly has with “Don’t Sleep”:
Shout out to these wonderful peeps with great taste:
