Dark Light

Here’s a brand new love song from Los Angeles, California alternative Artist Berel (born Berel Alexander). The track titled “Cloud” is being released today via Majestic Casual Records. The track sees some additional production by Aabo (Aaron Bortz) & Quickly Quickly.

The song is about your love being implored to come down from the stars to meet you back on the stable ground here on earth. Berel has a soulful voice and blends in old-school R&B. Influenced by jazz, hip-hop and soul with a definite seventies edge to it.

The production is rounded and lush in its offering. BEREL‘s soft vocals gel everything into place here too. Making it hard not to notice the beauty of the track. Do check out Berel’s “Cloud” (above) and follow his future releases via his social profiles (further down).

Lyrics

What’s the point in waiting if you never call,
What's the point in wishing we could dialogue,
We had our moment,
Pearls from the ocean,
Ran thru the emotions,
And then you ran off,
Was it devotion or just convenient,
I’ll never know if we don’t talk,

Won’t you come down up off that cloud, won’t you for me,
Won’t you come down up off that cloud, won’t you for me,

Why don’t you go ahead and treat me like you don’t care,
Bet it’s gonna be real lonely up there,

Won’t you come down up of off that could,
Won’t you come down, come down, come down,

Wanted to tell you when I wake up that I hope I never see you again,
And then I wanna fuck to make up I’d do anything to make amends,
All the walls you live in to keep me hidden they’re paper thin,
Was it all pretend,
Also fuck your fake friends you can hold that,
(Hold that)
Oh you go on and hold that,

Won’t you come down up off that cloud won’t you for me,
Won’t you come down up off that cloud won’t you for me,

Why don’t you go ahead and treat me like you don’t care,
Bet it’s gonna be real lonely up there,

Won’t you come down up of off that could,
Won’t you come down, come down, come down.
