Sometimes it only takes a tweet. the wonderful R&B music of Belle did waft graciously the Parisian air this morning. Cutting a blue streak through the smog for a few hours until this afternoon as we played her latest EP : “attention.deficit.hyperactivity.disorder”. With powerful tracks from the Toronto based artist on full volume we didn’t expect such a compelling EP to come by. We were surprised to say the least.

Being the shy, reserved person herself, Belle truly shows her real side when she gets behind that microphone. Shredding any ounce of doubt, hesitance or timidity in her wake. Making great use of her soft-spoken words.

Music has always been the only way she could freely express her true, uninhibited self. Music, she understood – it is her salvation. So, she studied. She listened. She imitated. She interpreted. She graduated. And the result is far from being shabby. Drake, yes Drake even appears on track six to support his protégée.
