Our last post on N*E*R*D sparked some frenzie amongst you music afficionados and today I’m adding to the ever so popular DOWNLOADABLES. But with a twist, only one cover and some new material that has just began airing on UK radios as well as top notch internet-cool-indie webradios I won’t name. I have also changed the cover art to go with this month parisian trend.
I feeling uber-lazy today so I’ll just let you discover the tunes for yourself and carry on with my laundry… Just a hint, The Divine Comedy did a brilliant cover of “No One Knows” originally by QOTSA (Queen Of The Stone Age for the non educated).

On another note, I wanted to share this with for quite some time now. One of my friends here in Dub-Dub, Benjamin it was, showed me a killing video on his Playstation 3 the other day, and I thought I’d post it up here. It’s a band called Gush (I think they are French, from Brittany) and this track called “Blow Frankie” is damn catchy. Love the dance routine the lead singer puts together. Very primitive but oh so funny.
Finally while we’re at it, check this student video for their end of year project. They had to come up with a music video so they thought kicking any other music video out on MTV at the moment was the only way to do it. It’s unbelievably well executed I say :
Cool vid – all in one take too! Love how they get the lecturers involved as well. Makes me wish my uni days were like that…
About Say Goodbye To Love, it’s one of StevieProductions’ favorite songs (StevieProductions is my favourite Youtuber).
About The Divine Comedy, i’ll be seeing them in 2 weeks at the Cité de la musique.
About Sweet About Me, the song is played so much these days. But thank you for uploading it. This is great.
