First of all, I melted for this simple as toast video clip of Metronomy’s upcoming album + single : The Look: check it out, it’s defo worth a click & play before your next picnic in the park :
Now onto Flight Facilities, who just recently posted a 70’s disco DJ set on their soundcloud page, which I missed for some obscure and unintentional reason… Oh Well, better late than never ! Also added bonus here today is their remix of Holy Ghost’s newest track dropped a few a couple days ago : Wait & See. Lucky for me, Holy Ghost! will be performing at La Fleche d’Or on the 14th of April in Paris. And stubs are dirt cheap ! so there’s no excuse not to be there.
Flight Facilities is an anonymous Indie DJ duo who claim on their MySpace and Facebook pages to be from Trinidad and Tobago but are widely quoted as in fact being from Sydney, Australia. There are sources which name the duo members as U-Go-B and Jimmy2Sox but nothing official has been released by the group itself. Jimmy2Sox’s cousin is Gus Da Hoodrat from the Bang Gang DJs.

The duo first began mixing various songs by artists including Bag Raiders, Toecutter and Sneaky Sound System. Their first original song Crave You featuring Giselle Rosselli is quickly increasing popularity with the frequent airtime it currently receives on the Australian radio station Triple J. Flight Facilities recently completed their first tour, Maiden Voyage, which began on the 2nd of July 2010.
