Life’s too short to be waiting around. Really. It’s the blatant truth. All this time spent hanging around could be better used, this is what I tell myself every waking hour, of every effin’ day. I lead this simple life. People probably don’t realize how much it has changed since I left Dubai two years ago. It’s not that exciting. There’s some highs, some lows. More lows these days in fact. I’m supposed to check myself in for a two or three day stint at the hospital towards the end of June. Just before the high-activity week that’ll be following with Jack White’s gigs here in Paris… But I couldn’t care less about the hospital really. It just brings me down. I’ve had enough of it amongst other things, I might discuss at a later date. Hence this rather sob-ish SUNDAZE playlist. I enjoy listening to dark tracks. Tracks filled with a melancholy feeling. Especially when traveling on the tube. Nothing beats a pretty sad list of songs playing one after the other. A good pair of headphones and people to lurk at, or better yet, a little snooze.
